Indian Premier League, 2019 | Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Delhi Capitals PREVIEW
RCB vs DC Dream11 Match Prediction | Who Will Win Today Match

Bengaluru, April 07, Sunday at 04:00 PM IST

With five defeats in as many games, Royal Challengers Bangalore are reeling at the bottom spot as nothing is working out for the side. Despite playing with 7 bowling options in the last game against KKR, Virat Kohli led RCB failed to defend 205 runs target at their home ground M Chinnaswamy yesterday. Andre Russell’s ferocious havoc of 13-balls 48 runs which included 7 maximums resulted in RCB’s fifth defeat of the season. They will now host rejigged Delhi Capitals tomorrow in the first fixture of Sunday’s doubleheader. The match will begin at 04:00 PM IST in the evening.

Russell’s makes the impossible possible for KKR
The 205 runs target set by RCB, courtesy fifties from skipper Kohli and AB de Villiers was the competitive score at M Chinnaswamy and the host was in complete control till 16th over despite cameos from Chris Lynn, Nitish Rana and R Uthappa. KKR needed 54 off 18 when Andre Russell walked in to bat. While it looked impossible for KKR to pull off, Russell showed his Muscle Power as he slammed three sixes in a row in 18th over. In the 19th over, he smoked off Tim Southee for 29 runs which included four sixes and one four.

While the RCB skipper looked completely dejected, let’s hope they manage two points to open their account against Delhi Capitals tomorrow.

Capitals looking for the rhythm to return to winning ways
After starting their campaign on a high, the re-jigged Delhi Capitals are looking a bit off-colour. In five games so far, DC has managed two wins and has lost three encounters. Their last two losses have exposed the fragile middle order which they need to address to return to winning ways. The whole team is looking overly depended on Prithvi Shaw, Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant in the batting.

The clash with RCB comes as a perfect opportunity for DC to secure a win and return to winning ways as the hosts are down on confidence.
