The first clash of Saturday’s double header is a high-tension battle between the two of the most successful teams of this edition – Chennai Super Kings vs Kings XI Punjab. Placed in the first half of the table, both the sides have managed three wins and one loss in four outings so far.

 After three wins on the trot,  Chennai Super Kings faced their first defeat in the last encounter against Mumbai Indians on Wednesday while Kings Xi Punjab registered a dramatic win over Delhi Capitals in their last encounter, courtesy Sam Curran’s hat trick.
